Internal Scan • The Strategy • Reflect on four year trends of information related to Success, Retention, Persistence, Degrees and Transfer across all disciplines by demographic. • Reflect on assessment trends identified within the integrated planning process (Outcomes Assessment (i.e. ILOs, SLOs, PLOs, OOs)and Program Review).

  5. External Scan • What is an external scan? • Provides assessment from a macro to a micro perspective.

  6. External Scan • The Strategy • Assess alignment of access between campus and regional (Antelope Valley)demographics. • Assess future students forecasts. • Utilized external resources to forecast job markets.

  7. Goal of Internal & External Scans • Derive meaning from the data. • Use data as evidence in support of developing plans and strategies for change to adapt or correct.
