  2. Small Server The small server method is the very first method that CStress launched with. It's based on the UDP protocol, while amplifying the stress test by spoofing the IP Header Source thus having it reflected by many servers.

  3. As we currently know, this can be done by multiple services that work on the UDP protocol, such as DNS (the first and most common one), NTP, SMTP, SNMP and the most recent one: SSDP.

  4. The beauty of SSDP is the simplicity of finding amplifying servers. SSDP is a service (as well as a protocol), running on UDP port 1900 and its main use is discovering plug & play devices. It's ran by many machines around the world (might be even ran on your PC!), thus being simple to scan. Small Server method comes with a dedicated 5Gbps network for each user.

  5. Website Over the time we have seen a lot of methods for websites go around the market (A.K.A layer7 or HTTP). The most common ones were HTTP GET, HTTP POST, HTTP HEAD, ARME and RUDY.

  6. While all work on a very simple structure: launching tons of requests from a single machine using proxies. When we launched CStress we decided to outsmart the common used methods and come with our own one.

  7. Our method is the first Layer 7 method that is actually amplified by other servers. You're probably wondering how come since spoofing the IP header is not possible when initializing a web request (since you need a 3-way-handshake for a connection), well this secret will stay with us this time.

  8. Dedicated Server This is our best one. Dedicated Server method uses a customized script to amplify UDP traffic at a certain service that works on the UDP protocol and can amplify the response size by up to 100.

  9. Using this method we're able to supply a 30Gbps dedicated network for each user. This is the most powerful method we offer and it comes only with the Premium Plan.

  10. Being able to stress test DDoS protected dedicated servers and other machines at certain customized ports. CStress is the first IP Stresser to launch this method.
