  2. Living in the 21st century has its conveniences and its inconveniences. One of my favorite conveniences is my favorite news outlet e-mailing me each morning with the morning headlines. In a perfect world I would have the time to sit down with a cup of coffee at the beginning of each day and leisurely browse any articles that might interest me.

  3. Instead, an hour commute to work each day forces me to keep my eyes on the road during my prime reading time. I tried listening to the radio news during my drive, but found I much preferred to receive my information from the source I had subscribed to via e-mail.

  4. The first solution to my dilemma was to have my phone read the e-mails this particular news source so that I could listen to the e-mails while I drove.
