  2. Habitat There habitat is Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida.

  3. Homes The Choctaw Indians lived in log cabins.

  4. Clothing • There Clothing is Breecloth which is a dress with beads. • A Poncho is a shirt with cuts on the sleeve and pants. • There shoes were called Moccasins and sometimes they put beads on them for decorations.

  5. Food • The Choctaw Indians harvested and ate food like corn, beans, squash, sunflowers and meat.

  6. Customs • The Choctaw Indian customs where that they liked to make bead bags. • There are a lot of Choctaw Indian legends and fairy tales.

  7. Tools and Weapons • They had clubs, spears, and bow and arrows. • Only the fisherman would use the bow and arrows for spearing their fish. • They used tomahawks and clubs in war.

  8. Art and Pottery • The Choctaw Indians did artwork but they did a little bit of pottery. • The main thing they made was beaded artwork, like river Cain baskets. They were made of grass, vine, and thin tree bark. • They also made beaded dolls. The dolls dresses were made out of beads sewn together.

  9. Interesting Facts • The Choctaw Indians bartered and when they bartered they used a language called, Mobil Ian.
