  1. Ways to reduce stress in your dogs Traveling is great for the nourishment of mind and soul. Hence, travel can be the best experience that you can give to your dog but you also need to remember that not all dogs might be able to adjust to the sudden change of places and things. The experience, instead of becoming thrilling can become a stress full journey. Therefore, for a stress-free journey with your furry companion make sure that you keep these things in mind. Plan The Trip Properly You are not traveling alone, you are traveling with your dog. So, always plan because there are places that don’t allow pets and you may land up searching for pet-friendly places to stay. Ensure that the place where you stay has a veterinarian clinic around for your dog’s rescue in case of emergencies. Carry All The Necessary Things For A Comfortable Journey Just like how you pack all the necessary stuff that you require or can’t live without, even there are your dog’s stuff like toys and treats that he/she likes and other essentials like water, grooming kit, bottle, feeding bowl, wet wipes, and litter bags. These things will help you as well because you don’t have to run for things whenever they are needed. Get Your Dog Treated According To The Place You Are Visiting

  2. A very good example is heartworms. There are heartworm prone places, if you are visiting those places, consult your vet and opt for a heartworm prevention program. Your vet will suggest you some treatments like Heartgard plus or Nuheart to protect your dog from fatal heartworm disease because you want to bring back memories, not diseases. Similarly, for other diseases and parasitic infestations like fleas and ticks as well, research about the place accordingly and consult your vet. You Can Also Take Stress Relievers With You There are many products that alleviate the stress in your dog and calm them up. Some of the best examples are Adaptil Spray and Adaptil collar. Products like these should be taken along because they help your dog to adapt to the environment easily with the help of the scientifically proven formula. Traveling is a fun-filled experience and with the above-mentioned tips, you will be able to create a more exciting experience for you and your pet. Also, don’t forget to attach a GPS tracker in the collar because having your dog lost and searching for him/her in total dismay, is the last thing you want in a journey.
