Our skin and clothes happen to be neither, which is why this tunnel practice likely does not achieve any desired result when it comes to reducing the transference of the virus. • It does not reduce transmission • The virus is most likely present in the respiratory tract and saliva. Sanitizing and disinfecting the skin is most probably futile. • The disinfectant/sanitization tunnels don’t guarantee results and can prove harmful to the participants.
