  1. An article all about the horrors and tragedies of drunk driving. 2 Why risk your life for one shot? You can never be too sure... To get to the next slide simply just press on the bubble (In order please) 1 Imagine this... 4 By: Julia Washburn Staying safe... 3 Accidents...

  2. Imagine this… Think about it. You're driving down the road, minding your own business. Then all of a sudden, BAM from behind. You jerk to a stop but there is no hope. You try to cover your head but it slams against the dashboard anyway. You later find out that the reason you were in that car crash, the reason your car was completely totaled, and you had bruises all over your body was because of a careless person. That careless person just so happened to be drunk driving.

  3. You can never be to sure... Did you know that if you are the average weight, (about 160 pounds) and you have a regular amount of beer (24 ounces; two beers) you are still 1.4 times more likely to get in an accident? Just think about that for a minute. You're risking your life just for a few bottles of beer -- not smart. You're basically taking your own life. Did you know that the average number of people who die of drunk driving is 28 people everyday. Next thing you know, you could one of those 28 people. Always be careful. Car Crash

  4. Accidents... In 2007, possibly one of the saddest drunk driving crashes of all time happened. Michael R. Gagnon (24 at the time) was speeding in the wrong direction in his pickup truck. He then struck a minivan which carried one happy family coming home to Maryland after spending the holidays in Michigan. Bethany Griffin, 36; her stepdaughter Lacie Burkman, 10; and her daughter, Vadi Griffin, eight weeks old, were killed during the crash. Bethany’s husband Danny Jr .was the only one to survive horrendous crash. Gagnon was later sentenced to 43 years in prison. Now do you understand how tragic it can be? Just think about how those girls and her mom could have lived a lot longer than they did. Why should they be the ones to suffer from somebody else's carelessness. They shouldn't have to. But they do, because that persons drink matter more than an innocent family.

  5. Staying safe... There are many ways that you can stay safe from drunk driving. Always keep in mind when you will be driving next. For example, if you know that you will be driving somewhere in the next hour or so, try not to consume any alcohol or anything before then. If you will not be driving for two or three hours, than you should be good. My point is, always be aware of your surroundings. You can also think to yourself "If everybody did this, would the world be safe?" Let's just say if everybody drank and drove, there would be a whole lot fewer people in the world.
