  3. What is a constellation? A constellation is a group of stars that creates a figure.

  4. How did we get constellations? Farmers invented constellations to help them remember stars and what month it is.

  5. How many constellations are there? There are 88 constellations in all. There are about 12 constellations in winter, 19 in spring, 16 in summer and 14 in fall.

  6. How do we use constellations? We use constellations to look at but some times it’s hard to tell which constellation is which because lines are not drawn from star to star. They have also have been used to navigate.

  7. Myths of constellations Pegasus is a constellation myth. Pegasus came out of Medusa when Medusa was be-headed by Perseus. Medusa was a beautiful Lybian prince because she was seduced by the sea god in a temple and transformed by Athena.
