  3. On a grassy little hill sat a lonely little tree. But is it really lonely? Let’s look and see!

  4. 1 fuzzy CATERPILLAR is crawling up the tree.

  5. Look all around and find it with me.

  6. 2 brown GRASSHOPPERS are chirping in the grass.

  7. Look quick and find them. They are so fast!

  8. 3 colorful BIRDS are now flying by.

  9. Look down low and look up high!

  10. 4 BEES are buzzing by the flowers below.

  11. Look you can see them in the grass down low.

  12. 5 BUTTERFLIES flutter around the treetop.

  13. Will they flutter long there or will they stop?

  14. 6 ripe PEARS are hanging from the tree.

  15. I don’t think that it’s too lonely!

  16. 7 red ANTS are marching in a line.

  17. Looking at this tree there are many things to find!

  18. 8 APHIDS are munching on a leaf that’s fallen down.

  19. So many things to count in the tree and on the ground.

  20. Rational • This book is designed for toddler age children. It has simple rhymes and a counting theme. It can also be an introduction for spatial concepts. Toddlers would enjoy looking for the things to count on the bright colorful pages.
