  2. Keep you iPad software updated • You should always keep your iPad up to date. It helps you stay connected to our wifi, keeps apps working properly, and helps keep you iPad secure. • Go to settings (looks like a gear) • Select “General” • Second item down . . . “Software Update” • If it needs to be updated it will say download and install or just install. • **Your iPad must be charged above 50% or plugged in for it to update.

  3. Install Air Watch Find this app on your ipad and click on it (not in the app store). This is important because this helps us to possibly find your iPad if it is lost or stolen. Without Air Watch we may not be able to find it and get it back for you. As you know, you will be responsible to replace it. This is also how NEW APPS will be pushed out to your iPad. If the school purchases an app, then you can not get it without this. Or

  4. Click the App Called AirWatch MDM Agent Click install The Confirm Installation notification will appear: Click install

  5. Press your home button Do you see this app? If it’s there, you’re done If it’s not there: Wait a second, it could take a few minutes to fully install If it still doesn’t install, restart your iPad and try again

  6. Did it work? Are you having trouble downloading other apps from the DVUSD app? You may need to complete the software update first (from the first slide) which could fix the issue of downloading these apps.
