  2. What is Naviance? Naviance/Family Connection is a comprehensive and widely used college and career planning software program that will assist our students, parents, and counselors in various areas of their education and post-high school planning process.

Log-on procedures • Go to either the cms or chs homepage. • On the left hand side, click Naviance. • If you have not registered as a parent, please pick up your registration codes before you leave (or email either Mr. Herman or the appropriate counselor). • Then click I need to register. • If you have forgotten your username or password, you can also contact Mr. Herman or a counselor to reset it for you. New user? I need to register.

  12. colleges • Will probably be the most used tab at pCH. • Includes college rep visits to pchs, supermatch college search, scholarship search, request transcripts for applications, and ability to link to college websites.

  14. colleges • As early as sophomore year, students can sign up to meet with admission reps from various colleges and universities • It’s a great way to: • find out if your student is really interested in a particular school before you visit the campus • start a good relationship with the school of choice and the admission rep
