  1. What To Do When Quickbooks POS Is Unable To Open Company Database? QuickBooks Point of Sale is very important software that automatically connects your business with your books by integrating POS with your QuickBooks financial software. While using QuickBooks POS, sometimes when update happen then QuickBooks POS become unable to open company database. Here, one can have a QuickBooks POS tech support to open company database. In this situation, it may also happen that you cannot be able to start POS server because of the following reasons:  It may be that your database is corrupted.  Software update has created interference while reading POS data file. So, let’s go through the fixes when your POS have stopped function due to attack of some malicious software. Have a look on solution steps shown as below: Allow POS services to connect with your desktop  First click on POS.  Now, click on Windows Start menu and then in Run prompt type ‘Services.msc’ and press Enter.  Now, you need to make configuration for Intuit Entitlement Service. Make a double click on Intuit Entitlement Service. Now, click on Log on tab. Now, choose local system account and then allow services to interact with desktop. Click Apply and Ok. With General Tab, check whether status is started or not. Now, you need to choose Start service, Stop, or Start again.  Restart your QuickBooks POS and check whether company will login or not.  If not, then you need to configure Database manager of QBPOS: Make a double click on QBPOS POS Database Manager X. Now, click on log on tab.

  2. Choose local system account allowing services to interact with your desktop. Now, click on Apply and OK. Open POS and if you find this error again, then you need to go through an online QuickBooks support or you may also go through next step.  Rename the data folder of POS  Close POS.  Click on Windows Start menu and type Servoces.msc and type enter.  Make a right click on QB POS Data Manager X and choose Stop.  Now, make a right click on Windows Start menu and select Open Windows Explorer.  Navigate for data folder in left window.  Now, right click on a folder matching to your company and rename it.  Enter an X before name and then click enter.  Again make a right click on QB POS Data Manager X and select Start.  You can again rename these files and open your file.  Be sure that POS folder name is always short so that you can easily keep it remembered. This way, you can easily open company database with QuickBooks POS. However, if you are still getting trouble, then you can dial a QuickBooks support number to have a perfect solution.
