WR MISSION: Empowering the Local Church to serve the most VULNERABLE • In community with the local Church • Envisions the most vulnerable people • To transform them ECONOMICALLY, SOCIALLY, and SPIRITUALLY HENCE: • Working with the Episcopal Church of the Sudan (ECS) and GoSS/MoEST to implement BSF Round 3a. • Fulfilling the requests and requirements by the MoEST

  3. What is the WR/ECS Doing in collaboration with MoEST • In-service Teacher Training Phse. I and II • Early Childhood Development (ECD) training • School Management Training for Head Teachers and MoEST officials • Training of Trainers (ToT) • Parents Teachers’ Association (PTA) Training • HIV/AIDs Awareness creation • Constructions (classrooms, offices, kitchens, store rooms and latrines) • Research, Education And Child Health (REACH) clubs

  4. Achievements Jan. – Mar. 2009 Trainings NB: All the above trainings were incorporated with HIV/AIDs Awareness program.

  5. Conclusion • The trainings for the quarter have been fully covered. • The attendance was overwhelming (more than expected). • Very good relationship between the GoSS, MoEST, Church, Community with the WR. • The WR and ECS Education strategies are well focused onto improving the quality of Education through proper in-service, management, ECD and PTA trainings.
