  1. SAM - CIC Portal parallel session • Piotr Nyczyk

  2. Participants • Piotr (session leader) • Gilles (COD Dashboard part) • Judit (COD Dashboard part) • Osman (CIC ROC Report part)

  3. COD Dashboard (SAM p.o.v.) • Presentation components standardisation: • list of URLs with common params will be provided (SAM, GV) • SAM will integrated closely with GV • SAM History replaced by bars • COD dashboard can embed bar with alarm history • time format to be W3C compliant: • SAM<>CIC interface already is using it • Two severity level thresholds: • alarm • will make alarm weight calculation more complex ! • unavailability • Test results validity • will be transparent for CIC portal

  4. COD Dashboard (COD p.o.v.) • problem with alarms with OK status (many of them) • history bar would improve • bulk actions on COD with check box before each alarm • alarm weights: • Gilles: David didn't implement all discussed rules yet • site size - problems with data (gstat inaccurate, jobwrapper will improve but not ready yet) • last test status - tuning feature, not now • Rising alarms only if problem reoccurs: • Piotr: risk that we will not be proactive enough • history bar would help ti quickly discard useless alarms • alternative: long term project to have automatic results pattern recognition to revoke alarms

  5. ROC Report generator • Integration of SAM/GV displays with new version of ROC report: • SAM/GV will provide standardised availability and test results visualisation components • Osman will embed visual components into ROC report generator • Osman will provide the whole framework for annotation (together with storage) • Osman will probably use SAM/GV availability data by XML interface • David will provide necessary XML data exports • Osman needs to have configurable links under individual bars (image maps template or XML data?) • Evolution of regions (number of sites, nodes, etc.): • SAM/GV teams have to find out if it is simple or difficult to implement • Osman has a proposal of the schema to store sites, nodes, services history

  6. Actions (1) • Piotr: to push GV to provide history bar and other visual components needed by Osman • Piotr: to implement two levels of severity thresholds (will affect FCR) • David: to implement alarm postponed state with the column for expiration time • David: to implement rough rule for size based alarm weight • Gilles: to add checkboxes for bulk operations • Gilles: to embed history bars while ready

  7. Actions (2) • Gilles: to add alarm postponing while ready • Osman: to work on new version of ROC report once visual components are ready • David: provide additional XML exports for Osman • Osman: to share his proposal of sites, nodes, services history tracking schema • SAM Team: to evaluate the proposal and come up with final solution of sites, nodes, services history tracking
