  1. What is Physiotherapy? Physiotherapy is an ‘evidence-based health care profession concerned with human function and movement seeking to maximise physical potential and quality of life.’ Physiotherapists use a multi-faceted approach to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological acknowledging that the whole person affects recovery potential. and social well-being, Physiotherapy is for anybody, at any stage of life, who identifies that they have a movement and function problem, threatened by age, injury, disease, disorders, conditions or environmental factors. Physiotherapy is an evidence-based clinical health science, and therapists are required to use treatments only if their effectiveness has been demonstrated in scientific research. The power of Online Physiotherapy is that it uses this very evidence- based approach of active-movement rehab alongside science-based advice. Conversely, face-to-face Physio tends to lean too heavily upon touch/passive movements, which will lead to poorer results than Online Physio… the very results we see!
