  3. Specifying E-Mail Options To specify e-mail options • On the Standard toolbar, click the New Mail Message button. • On the Standard toolbar in the message window, click Options. • Select the options that you want. • Click the Close button.

  4. Customizing the Appearance of E-Mail Messages To change message format • On the Tools menu, click Options. • Click the Mail Format tab. • In the Message Format section, click the Compose in this message format down arrow, select the desired format, and then click OK.

  7. Setting Viewing Options To set viewing options • On the Standard toolbar, click the Organize button. • Click the Using Views link. • Select the view option that you want. • On the Standard toolbar, click the Organize button to close the Organize pane.

  8. Sorting Messages To sort messages • On the View menu, point to Current View. • Click Customize Current View. • Click the Sort button. • Select your options and click OK twice.

Creating Folders To create folders • On the Standard toolbar, click the Organize button. • Click the Using Folders link. • In the top of the Organize pane, click the New Folder button. • In the Name box, type a folder name. • In the Select where to place the folder list, select the location and click OK.

  10. Moving Messages Between Folders To move messages between folders • Highlight the desired message. • On the Standard toolbar, click the Organize button. • Click the Using Folders link. • In the first line, select the folder to which you want to move the message. • Click the Move button.

  11. Filtering Junk E-Mail Messages To filter junk e-mail • On the Standard toolbar, click the Organize button. • In the Organize pane, click the Junk E-Mail link. • Select the desired filter options. • Click the Turn On button.
