  5. Textbook pg. no. 154: He was born in Kufa in the year 80 A.H, he was merchant of clothes with his father. He traveled to Makkah for pilgrimage along with his father and met many scholars. He died in the year 150 A.H and was buried in Baghdad. He was a merchant in Kufa and started learning Quran and sunnah since his early years. He was a great faqih, he attained a remarkable status in jurisprudence and theology.
