  2. The Writing Task (Activity 17, Page 10) T You will have extended time to plan, write, and revise an essay on the topic below. Before you begin writing, read the passage carefully and plan what you will say. Your essay should be as well-organized and carefully written as you can make it.

  3. Activity 17: Consider the Writing Task Before you start to write your essay, read the passage carefully and plan what you will say.

  4. Analyze the writing prompt: Explain Coben’s argument in “The Undercover Parent” and discuss the ways in which you agree or disagree with his analysis and conclusion. Support your position by correctly quoting and paraphrasing details from Coben’s text, and then provide supporting arguments or counter-arguments in response to his assertions.
