EVOLUTION FUNDING & OPERATIONS: FROM 2001 • CARDI primary funding source (80%) • Scaled down of activities • Competition and conflict with CARDI’s mandate • Stakeholders concerns • Preponderance of unsustainable networks • PROCICARIBE assumed R & D responsibilities • PROCICARIBE intertwined with CARDI PROCICARIBE Mechanism 4th FORAGRO Meeting – Panama, 13-15 April 2005 Francis Asiedu
