  3. Background Statistics Sweden has calculated indicators for the populations access to grocery stores 2001 and 2006, using the national road network outside localities and bird distance inside.   Four distances were used: 300m, 600m (inside localities) 1500m, 10000m (outside localities)

  5. Method Connecting population on real estate level with grocery stores through the national road database. Sweden was divided into 22 partially overlapping regions to lessen the computer time. Software ArcInfo Mapinfo/Routefinder
