  3. The top funnel of the instrument catches rain and delivers it to the one-inch capacity measuring tube, which can read to the nearest 1/100th of an inch.  When the measuring tube is full, additional rain overflows into the outer cylinder.  Pour the rain water from the outer cylinder into the measuring tube, and you read the amount of rain you have received, up to eleven inches. Rain Gauge

  4. On the scale we can see the arrow that indicates the atmospheric pressure in that particular location. Further, we can see some numbers and some words written on the scale. The numbers indicate different degrees of atmospheric pressure, and the words are describing the likely weather characteristics associated with that particular value of atmospheric pressure Barometer

  5. A weather Vane or Wind Vane is a device for indicating wind direction. Weather Vane

  6. Anemometer is the device for measuring wind speed. Cup and propeller anemometers are the two types of commonly used anemometers. The propeller rotates to a parallel axis in propeller-type anemometer. While cup anemometers are mainly used by meteorological station and normally consist of three or four cups mounted symmetrically at right angles to a vertical axis. The force exerted by the wind is greater on the inside surface of the cup than on the outside so the cups rotate. The rate of rotation is directly proportional to the wind speed and thus the wind speed can be measured. Anemometer
