Fixed: chkdsk Command Stuck on Windows 10

When you are using a PC, you may notice that with constant use there is some reduction in the processing speed. It is a widely acceptable and used idea, but the best way is the use of chkdsk command to resolve the error and fix some corrupted files. Time Taken to Complete the process by chkdsk: • The disk checkup operation is much simplified in the Windows 10, because of the different checking method of the errors. • This utility has redesigned by the new filing system which is called ReFS. This filing system requires the Online connection to repair the disk error. • This System uses the resiliency model, which works slightly different from the standard model.

Fixing the Stuck chkdsk • You have to use the Windows 10 CD install or repair (by the recovery image). • Now you can see a CD name mentioned on the screen, Enter it and restart your computer. • When your system is started again, then you have to run the cmd command from the main window by clicking the Shift + F10 keys. • Now, enter the regedit command and run it, which will open the Registry Editor. • You have to reach out to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Running the Cleanup of Disk • Launch the Start Menu. • Please search for the Disk Cleanup command and click on it from the result list. • Now, you have to make a choice, which one you wish to clean, then you have to click on OK. • Now, select the file types you wish to remove (if you don’t know about the type of file then you can see the description of that file type by clicking on it). • Now, tap on, OK.
