Events Award of Excellence ------- Initiated in 2012 in Auckland, 8 outstanding women Women’s Com. function at Grand Final ------ Workshop, Forum, Novice Aquathlon , IF Mixed Relay,IF Mixed Relay (30 Teams) Women in Sport Networking ------ IWG, IF Women Equity in Leadership, IOC Gender Equality Review Regular meetings -- monthly conference calls Ad-hoc meetings -- working group meetings

Four categorized areas (this is more like macroscopic view) Terms of Reference - New TOR, and wording recommended to be included ITU Constitution - Review work conducted based on the strategy workshop held in Rotterdam in 2017 and TORs for women’s advocacy of intl. sporting organizations Communication Development - Women and girls races - Workshops for woman involvement Culture - Challenges with cultural background: i.e. uniforms, development of women in the areas with specific social values

  4. Exploring global networking and studying on Women in leadership IF Gender Equality FORUM WOMEN in POLITICAL LEADERS AASM FORUM

  5. Future initiatives, Building on a strong legacy Mentorship Program Comprehensive collaboration with Development Commission /ITU EB Development in target regions Coaches, atheltes, sports doctors, representations in leadership TOGETHER, StrongER

Grand Final highlights building on a strong legacy • AWARD OF EXCELLENCE • Based on the renewed selection process, criteria and weightings • 4 international academics and Chair of Women’s Committee • The awardee of 2019 :Jenny Vincent, BT • IF MIXED RELAY - GRAND FINAL EVENT • 18:00 Friday, 30th August • Approx. 30 teams of both genders • Dedicated waves • POST RACE RECEPTION • - 19:00 at VIP area to celebrate women’s participation in Triathlon
