  1. Structural Foam: The Essential Equipment for Safe Flying Structural foam is a crucial element in aircraft manufacturing. It's used to create the parts that hold together the body of an aircraft, and it also helps to insulate against temperature changes. This material is especially important in airplanes because it allows for greater weight capacity and lower fuel consumption. This composite material was first developed by NASA in order to improve safety for astronauts flying in space. During the early 1960s, there were many experiments conducted with rockets that required people to go into space for long periods of time without any protection from things like radiation or micrometeorites (tiny pieces of debris). In order for these astronauts to survive, it became necessary for them to have a suit that would protect them from these dangers while still allowing them freedom of movement so they could do their jobs inside the spacecraft. Aircraft structural foam is created through the use of polyurethane or polystyrene, which are both strong, lightweight plastics. The process of manufacturing aircraft structural foam starts with mixing these two materials together into a liquid form so that they can be poured into molds. Once the molds have been filled, they're heated until the liquid turns into solid foam. Once it's cooled down again, the molds are opened up and removed from their position within the machine. Structural foam is a polyurethane composite that is used in the construction of aircraft. It can be used to coat the wings and fuselage of an airplane in order to prevent damage to these important parts. Structural foam is also used in the construction of boats and submarines because it provides insulation, support and buoyancy.

  2. The major purpose of aircraft structural foam is to protect the airframe from damage while flying at high speeds. The material is molded into different shapes to fit specific areas on an airplane's body. This is done by using a special machine known as an injection molder. The machine will inject plastic into a mold and cure it under intense heat until it becomes solid. Technology Marketing provides aircraft structural foam and other composite materials for the aerospace and military industries who need long-lasting and protected supplies and aircrafts. Our products are tested and proven in the most rigorous of circumstances so that you can be sure your machinery will be protected no matter the situation. No matter which of our excellent composite materials suits your particular industry’s needs, Technology Marketing is ready to help your company stay efficient and productive.
