  2. The Halloween comes from a pagan, Celtic ritual All Hallow's Eve. It appeared in USA in XIX century, where it's still celebrated very loudly. On that day in Ireland there were fires lighted and prayers said.

  3. Originally it was connected with black magic and spellcasting. The popular symbols of it are: ghosts, witches, black cats, goblins, demons, zombie, owls etc. The other recognizable sign is a hollow pumpkin with a candle inside.

  4. In United States the popular custom is to dress as a ghost, wampire, witch, demons. On than day dressed up children visit houses and collect candies. The equivalent of Halloween in Poland is Zaduszki holiday

  5. There are a lot of games related to Halloween. The most popular are bobbing for apples - fishing apples from water only with teeth. Other popular entertainment is to eat fruits and candies hanged on the strings without using hands. Another kind of Halloween games is fortune-telling like foretelling from the saucers. One with scarf on his eyes picks a saucer and the subject under it tell the next year's event.

  6. Halloween symbols are of course everything what's connected with life after life and horror so ghosts, zombies, phantoms, wampires, witches, demons, bones etc. The inherent symbol of Halloween is also a face-hollowed pumpkin with candle inside. It's easy to prepare - the top should be cut with a sharp knife, the inside hollwed, face shapes cut on the sides and ready.
