    1. Overview   This 2 day course will provide delegates with an understanding  covering all aspects of Part 145 Maintenance Approval Annex II to Implementing Rule 2042/2003 and the corresponding Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Materials (GM)   Methodology    The course is intended to be very practical with many specific examples from the industry. Many links made between the regulatory requirements and the within the MOE and the organisation’s procedures and processes.   Who Should Attend   Operators and Maintenance Organizations, Regulatory Staff from National Aviation Authorities and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) approval holders. The course is suitable both for beginners and professionals. Course Objectives   By the end of this course, delegates will be able to • Understand  the requirements and interpretation of  EASA Part 145 • Consider relevant practical examples and issues associated with Part 145 • Implement Part 145 within an Organization • Understand the Interface between Part 145, Part 66/Part 147 and EU OPS Particularly in respect of Part M interface. • Provide a regulatory and industry understanding  for staff involved in part 145 maintenance   Key Topics   • Airworthiness and continued Airworthiness concepts • EASA Part 145 Requirements AMC and guidance materials • Interface between Part 145, Part 66/Part 147 and EU OPS with Part M in details Human Factors – an introduction • The importance of Competency within the organization • Aircraft Parts Acceptability – an introduction • Nominated Form 4 Holder and management responsibilities • Quality Systems within a Part 145 Organization • Developing Procedures and the Maintenance Organization Exposition
