We spend much time caring for our spouses, children, pets, friends, family members. • Add to that volunteer activities, errands, housework, family functions, meetings, etc. - there isn't much time left for caring for ourselves. You need to make caring for yourself a priority, otherwise........

  4. YOUR OWN HEALTH WILL SUFFER

  5. HOW DO I START TO LOOK AFTER MYSELF BETTER?

  6. Make time for yourself every day • Even just 15 min a few times a day • or once a week • Put it in your calendar and do not let anything interfere. YOU DESERVE THIS TIME FOR YOURSELF!

  7. Practice the word NO • Check which of the responsibilities you have taken on are really yours • Please yourself first before trying to please others • Become your own best mate • Look out for yourself

  8. Some self-pampering ideas to get you started: • Take a bubble bath

  9. Spend time in Nature

  10. Get a manicure or pedicure

  11. Have a massage

  12. Listen to relaxing music

  13. Visit a spa and have a facial

  14. Take a nap

  15. Go to an outdoor cafe and watch the world go by as you have your favourite drink

  16. Curl up with a good book

  17. Most importantly say this to yourself every day: "I am a beautiful person and I deserve to be treated kindly. I am loved, .....

  18. ...and I love myself."
