Why a strategic review? • Undertaking the Library Review is in part due diligence • It is something we should simply do as we move forward • “Establish a ‘culture’ of periodic reviews for all academic support activities” • Sixth Decade Plan, Recommendation 17 • Integrating and dovetailing with planning now underway across campus

  3. The Library Review will include at a minimum • Engagement with all Library staff • Engagement with Library users & stakeholders • A scan of the current environment • Aligning our resources with our strategic directions • Integrating with the current Mid Cycle Review • A review and identification of appropriate impact, outcome and assessment measures

  4. The Library Review is in brief • Due diligence • Engaging with each other • Engaging with our users • Building on our strengths • Strategic & forward looking

  5. The Library Review sets the stage for • Annual planning & priorities process • Aligning resources with strategic directions • Integrating with campus directions & plans
