We do not work to become righteous. We already have the righteousness of God. We are workers together with God in the “family business”. When we work with love and faithfulness, God rewards us.

  10. Bible Lesson: Good Works One of the best works we can do is to believe God's Word. We have already believed the most important thing: Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” John 6:28-29

  11. Bible Lesson: Good Works Our example: Jesus Christ how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Acts 10:38

  12. Bible Lesson: Good Works We represent Christ on earth. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12

  13. Bible Lesson: Good Works God has equipped us. so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:17

  14. Bible Lesson: Good Works Keep serving God. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. I Corinthians 15:58

  15. Bible Lesson: Good Works God rewards us. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10
