  4. PIHRA Inland Valley is proud to offer two stipends to the California HR Conference for one professional and one student. (APPLY HERE) Requirements: PIHRA IV Stipend • Be an enrolled student • Be a member in good standing with the PIHRA student chapter. (with current student membership) • Be a member in good standing with PIhra Central (with current student membership). • Submit a paragraph on what you plan to accomplish with the learnings from the conference. • Certify commitment to attend a full day of the conference and accept all other costs necessary for such attendance (this includes parking, meals, etc.) • Submit a fully and accurately completed application form no later than May 31, 2019 ‹#›

HR Intern | West Hollywood Duties & Responsibilities: • Act as a source of information for employees and visitors who come to HR • Work on data entry alongside team members • Assist with onboarding of new employees such as compiling orientation folders and sending welcome emails, scheduling, etc. • Assist with the coordination of HR events & trainings • Take on special projects as necessary Qualifications: • Someone with the ability to work close in coordination and collaborate with the HR team and other departments to build relationships and trust with a broad range of individuals across the organization • Proven track record of being reliable, prepared, responsive, eager to learn and encouraging • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills • Passion/interest and understanding of technology • Acute attention to detail and follow through, high-level of organization Contact Ajia Baldwin ajia.baldwin@gotinder.com

Internship Opportunity Conference Coordinator - Temporary • The employment length extends from June 2019 through the end of August 2019 (with a possibility to extend one additional week into September 2019). • Approximately 20-25 hours per week during the hours of 8:30 am -3 pm, Monday-Thursday. Longer hours may be necessary closer to conference dates. • Overnight stay in Long Beach, CA may be required. • The main focus of the job will be to support the Programs Department with the annual California HR Conference • Supporting all pre-event planning activities including but not limited to: • speaker management: contacting all speakers to ensure timelines are met • volunteer coordination: assisting with the training and onsite schedule • administrative logistics: answering questions that attendees, volunteers, and speakers may have in regard to their responsibilities • assisting the programs coordinator with pre-event registrations • on-site coordination: supporting onsite logistics as needed Send resume and cover letter to Stacey@pihra.org.
