  3. During the past month, have you noticed any change in regards to the number of patients whose injury claims have been declined by ACC?

  4. Have you or any of your patients challenged ACC decisions relating to pre-existing degenerative conditions through dispute resolution services?

  5. What do you tell patients who have had their injury claim declined by ACC on the grounds that it is a pre-existing degenerative condition?

  6. Would you support ACC introducing the use of more specific clinical terms to describe a patient’s condition, rather than describing a condition as ‘degeneration’ when declining a claim?
