  11. DEFAULT RATE AND VALUE Q. What is it? A. Ability to link a value to a rate Q. How does it work? A. Two steps: First, set the default weighing mode to “Manual” and create a default weight. Second, go to the default imprint setting and save a weight. NOTE: If you use the default value and rate, then you must change the weighing mode when you want to weigh mail.

  18. Recent Bulletins & Advisories SB# 985 – IJ/WJ Energy Star Power Supply Failures Power Supplies were failing because some components could not handle the full current load mostly on power up. Old Power Supply style (4124788D) was shipped instead. SA-87 – Shipment of Energy Star Power Supplies (4141843U) Resuming shipment of these Power Supplies until the new modified is received in Memphis by May 24th

Re-designed piston print headIJ-90/110 and IJ-15k • Spring-loaded piston installed on the inside of the print head • This will help prevent vacuum loss and ink leakage • A plastic shield installed on the outside of the rubber septum • This will protect the rubber septum from being split by a non-centered ink regulator needle and also help prevent vacuum loss and ink leakage ***Manufactured in 2/2010 with a best before date of 2/2012. Will start shipping soon.

Other IJ/WJ Ink issues • White lines in print • Caused by clogged nozzles • Print heads can be manually cleaned by using a wet cloth but issue returns often • Cause is paper dust and glue residue • Clean upper and lower rollers • Dirty wipers and/or caps and paper path area. • Clean and/or replace both wipers and caps. • If problem persists, the print head needs to be replaced • E156 errors • 20 nozzles are defective or burnt • Usually unrecoverable and the print head needs to be replaced

  28. Other IJ/WJ Ink issues We are getting reports the previous issues may be also caused by “cuts” near the print head nozzles.

  30. OLS Fixes • Feature Expiration – Contracts expire thereby removing features. • May still occur • SP10 does not get upgraded to SP20 – Prevents department data from showing up on customer web. • May Still occur • WP scale activation – It takes 15 minutes to activate.

OLS Current Issues • Invalid Configurations – Causes connection failure. • tracking 28 machines. • PSD in wrong base • Invalid Passwords – Causes connection failure. • tracking 49 machines. • R&D is creating a patch to fix this issue. • IS/IM beta version 1.7 connection error - Causes connection failure. • Under investigation

Service Bulletins (SAS) Service Bulletin# 2010/04/01 – Commercial Base Pricing Concerns for Shipping & Accounting Products FriendShip Navigator & iMCM G2 are still supported shipping products for claiming Priority Mail Commercial Base Pricing. Service Bulletin# 2010/04/22 – FriendShip Navigator Computer System Requirements Change Computer performance has become an issue for some FriendShip Navigator systems. To address this, we have changed the recommended computer hardware and operating system requirements. Service Bulletin# 2010/05/07 – iMCM G2 Version 8.34.03 Release iMCM G2 (version 8.34.03) was released to production and includes multiple corrective actions and enhancements, including the ability to perform address cleansing functions with the Satori MailRoom Toolkit. Service Bulletin# 2010/05/08 – FriendShip Navigator Version 1.0.569.414, “FM” Release FriendShip Navigator (version 1.0.569.414, “FM”) was released to production and includes multiple corrective actions and enhancements, including the ability to perform address cleansing functions with the Satori MailRoom Toolkit.

Service Bulletins (SAS) Service Bulletin# 2010/05/15 – NeoTrak Version 5.3.0 Release NeoTrak (version 5.3.0) was released to production and includes multiple feature enhancements, including the ability to introduce the new Janam XM66 handheld device. Service Bulletin# 2010/05/14 – Smart Track Version 3.4.0 Release Smart Track (version 3.4.0) was released to production and includes multiple feature enhancements, including the ability to introduce the new Janam XM66 handheld device.

  35. Service Advisory’s (SAS) SA# 85 – End-of-Support for Windows XP SP2 & Windows 2000 In accordance to Microsoft’s Product Lifecycle, the support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows 2000 will end on July 13, 2010.

Product Enhancements (SAS) Introduction of Satori MailRoom Toolkit for address validation functions with iMCM G2 and FriendShip Navigator Requires the latest release of Satori’s MailRoom Toolkit Architecture Supported with iMCM G2 v8.34.03 or greater Supported with Navigator v1.0.569.414 “FM” or greater Satori Bulk Mailer cannot be used for address validation functions with G2 or Navigator Upcoming release of the Janam XM66 for NeoTrak and Smart Track Slated to be release by Marketing on June 1st Supported with NeoTrak v5.3.0 or greater Supported with Smart Track v3.4.0 or greater

Other Action Items (SAS) System 36 / 77 / Global Discontinuation for Support The target date for discontinuation is July 1, 2010. iMCM G1 Discontinuation for Support The target date for discontinuation is January 1, 2011. Support for FedEx is slated to be discontinued on August 1, 2010. FriendShip / MailManager II Discontinuation for Support The target date for discontinuation is January 1, 2011. The final version of FriendShip will not include any rate change requirements for 2011.

Yes, use the update registration • Q. Are buttons becoming a problem sticking? • A. Yes. We will investigate this issue. • Q. Pressing the button twice causes the screen to freeze. • A. This has to be confirmed. • Q. Can a confirmation button be added to the funds loading screen? • A. We will put in the request.
