  1. “Ungovernable” – The new BMW Commercial Directed by Kyle Lewis Cape Town-based director Kyle Lewis started his artistic journey with the music video industry in South Africa, but soon moved to the world of advertising. Over the past few years, his work for different brands such as Volkswagen, Absolute, Nike and BMW has managed to catch and enhance the essence of African youth culture. Lewis, commonly regarded as an artist and an outstanding advertising director, is someone who crosses traditional boundaries in search of his dreams and passions, never conforming to societal norms. No wonder the creative team at Open Co. asked him to work on the 'Ungovernable' ad for 'X2' from BMW. The diverse spot encourages the audience to question the cultural concept of 'right' and 'wrong' and pursue one's own artistic pursuits, similar to the attitude of the producer.
