Landscape • –Landscapes have 3 parts: • •Foreground • •Middle Ground • •Background • –The Horizon Line typically falls in the upper or lower third…not across the center of your photo • –Don’t cut your image apart by power lines, etc… • –Think about leading lines, light, and shadows • –Really focus on COMPOSITION; landscapes can easily become too busy. • –Think ahead of time about the weather. Bad weather at some time during the project will NOT be cause for an extension!

  3. Scavenger Hunt • •Choose 12 of the items from the list to shoot your photos of • •You MUST BRACKET • •Be Creative, but KEEP IT CLEAN! • •COMPOSITION IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT! • •You must turn inalist of the 12 items you chose to shoot in the order that you shot them

  5. Still Life • Use 3 to 5 Objects that you can rearrange • Think about backdrop and Lighting • COMPOSITION IS CRITICAL!

Digital PROJECT FILM PROJECT • Choose one Option to Shoot Digitally • Shoot at Least 30 Photos • Choose your best 8 to title and turn in • Put in a folder titled with your name and copy to the Drop Box • Choose one Option to Shoot in Film • One Full Roll of Film • Bracket • Contact Sheet • 4 – 4x5” Prints
