  2. 2-25-19 Today was a relaxed day! We woke up around 8:30 and I got 10 hours of sleep. My morning took an unfortunate turn when my nail broke! There was no way I could be seen with a broken nail in Italy! I immediately took a shower and rushed on Yelp to find a nail salon near me! I booked the appointment and while Wyatt and I waited, we got some breakfast which consisted of a Nutella crêpe with bananas (which Wyatt and I shared) and a sandwich for each of us! Surprisingly enough, it only came out to be €8! After I got my nail fixed, we met back up with Wyatt’s parents to get some lunch at this restaurant by the Pantheon, a very popular tourist attraction! After that, we went shopping and searched around the city in hopes of finding some deals. For the first time in our whole trip, I treated myself to some shopping. I bought a couple pairs of jeans as well as a shirt and a jacket and it only came out to €96. Next, we went back to the hotel to freshen up and drop our bags off and while Wyatts family finished up, I ran to a nearby shop to return a few items. When I finished, I returned and we all left to do some more sightseeing! But first, a cappuccino! We went to a couple of local churches and the Victoriano! They were beautiful! Following our adventures, we finished off our last night in Rome with a well reviewed meal, I got a carbonara and it was divine! We went back to the hotel and to my luck, I realized I had lost my passport. It was a stressful and tearful process but eventually we all stuck together and figured out what our game plan would be when we arrived in Naples. Luckily for me, it was a fairly simple process but it’s still a bummer! Besides the few unfortunate events that occurred, it was still a great day and something I will remember for the rest of my life!

  3. 2-26-19 Today we take a train to Naples! The train was really fun and almost relaxing. Upon arrival, I of course got a cappuccino! Today was the day I had to go to the embassy in Naples to obtain my temporary passport. It was an easy process which only took about 35 minutes. Afterwards we went shopping for a bit, had lunch, did some more shopping, had dinner, and back to the hotel!

  4. 2-27-19 Today is a very busy day! It is our last day in Naples and we’re going to take a tour of the coast and Pompeii and Sorrento! Our driver was very kind and new all of the spots where there were little to no tourists! The coast was gorgeous and our meal there was phenomenal! Although it was a long day, it was definitely something to remember!

  5. 2-28-19 Today we go to Venice! We had an early 7 AM flight so we woke up around 4 AM to make sure we arrived on time. The flight was quick and full of excitement! Upon arrival, we had to take a bus and a water taxi to arrive to our Airbnb! We dropped our stuff off and of course went shopping! Fortunately, we arrived during the Carnival which is a big festival in Venice that consists of grand costumes and beautiful masks! We went sightseeing and continued our endless shopping and ended the night with a delicious dinner!

  6. 2-29-19 Our trip is coming to an end, our last day in Italy. We woke up very early to make sure we got the most out of our days. We got a filling breakfast and an espresso of course and began our journey. We started by taking a water taxi to a glass blowing facility to see the masters at work. We took a tour of the place and finally saw all of the artwork, it was gorgeous. We then had a yummy lunch and took a water taxi to St. Mark's Square to explore Doge's Palace! It was phenomenal and the sculptures were unreal. We continued to shop, spending the last of our euros and of course, we went for a ride on the infamous gondolas. It was a fun experience and after we got off it still felt like we were swaying. We had dinner and were forced to say our final goodbyes to the beautiful country of Italy before our departure the following day.
