  2. Introduction: • Psa. 108:1 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. 2) Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

  3. Praise for Mercy and Truth. Vs. 4 • Pro 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: • Psa 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

  4. Jas 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. • Deu 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

  5. Praise for Deliverance. Vs. 6 • Saved from sin. • Eph 1:6-7 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

  6. Praise for Deliverance. Vs. 6 • Saved from ourselves. • Col 3:12-13 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13) Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

  7. Praise for Deliverance. Vs. 6 • Saved from hell. • 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

  8. Praise for Triumph. Vs.9 • 2Co 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his nowledgeby us in every place.

  9. Praise for Help. Vs. 12 • Luk8:43-44 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44) Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

  10. Conclusion: • Praise is a decision. • Praise is necessary. • Praise is powerful. • Praise is worthy.
