CONTINUING ACTIVITIES • SRSP-500/SRSP-501 (VHF and UHF LM bands) • finalize discussion on use of a C/I approach for the • calculation of co-channel separation distance • targeted publication date: 2Q00 • Family Radio Service (FRS) • revise SRSP-501 and the appropriate RSS for the 400 MHz LM band to reflect the decisions of the policy.
NEW ACTIVITIES • SRSP-503 (Cellular 800 MHz) • revisit SRSP-503 to address the following issues: • Cordless cellular base station: revise text to align with • approach adopted in RSS-128, RSS-129, RSS-133 • and SRSP-510 • introduction of new advanced digital access • technologies in the current band plan • targeted publication date: 2Q00
NEW ACTIVITIES • Licensing of additional PCS spectrum • provide engineering assistance in the development of the process of licensing blocks C & E of the PCS band • review SRSP-510 and RSS-133 in view of policy and licensing considerations • Impact of WRC-2000 decisions • evaluate impact of WRC-2000 decisions on IMT-2000 • and undertake any necessary technical/engineering studies

RSS planned to be published in 2000 • Revision to existing RSS’s • RSS-181 Maritime SSB Radio (1.6- 28 MHz) • review and update the document • RSS-131 Radio Signal Enhancers • introduction of provisions for class AB and class C amplifier • RSS-210 Low Power devices • introduce bands 59-64 GHz for Internet and ITS uses • address Family Radio Service devices in the 400 MHz band • LE-LAN devices now authorized in bands 5.15-5.35 and • 5.725-5.825 GHz (200 mW - 1 W)
