A proponent of philanthropy and mankind's mutual interdependence, Los Angeles-based personal injury lawyer Juan Dominguez regularly donates his time and money to several different charitable organizations in order to help the less fortunate, domestically and internationally. Locally, Juan Dominguez avidly supports the AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). Concerned about disadvantaged youths in the city and nearby areas, Juan Dominguez provides assistance for the youth outreach program A Place Called Home; the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks Youth Athletic Club; and the Staples Center Foundation, a group that serves children in greater Los Angeles. Juan Dominguez also sponsors the Juan J. Dominguez Scholarship Fund. Throughout the state, Juan Dominguez contributes to other charitable organizations as well, including the cancer treatment provider City of Hope, Feed the Children, and the Together in Mission Catholic Archdiocese. Juan Dominguez aids several international causes. For over five years, he has sponsored two children, one in Guatemala, and the other in the Dominican Republic, for Children International. A fan of baseball, Juan Dominguez has provided sponsorship for Little League Baseball and the Seniors Baseball League in Chinandega, Nicaragua. Juan Dominguez also supports the American Red Cross, UNICEF, and Doctors Without Borders. Juan Dominguez's concern for the environment has led him to support such organizations as the Coral Reef Alliance, which seeks to keep coral reefs alive, and the American Eagle Foundation, which is dedicated to saving the bald eagle and its habitat.
