  3. “Success is a journey, not a destination.” Hi, my name is Kathy Barber, and I view my career as a vocation not an occupation. The gift of educating and stimulating the minds of children year after is rewarding and refreshing for both of us. I have been in my vocation for twenty-three years; I have taught the following grades: Special Education for seven years, second for three years, third for three years, and fourth for ten years. I have a Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I will be completing my practicum in this vocation for graduation in the near future. I truly believe that “success is a journey,” so your child will embark on the journey of success with me this year.
