  3. Gerrish V.S. White Gerrishisults Private White. White leaves his post to fight Gerrish. White strikes him in the side of his head with the butt of his musket. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Greek_pottery_2.jpg

  4. The Fight The mob gets out of control and people start throwing stick, stones, and snowball at the British. There were nine British officers. Private Hugh was struck with a club and fell to the ground. When he got on his feet he yelled “Fire!” http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Boston_Massacre_high-res.jpg

  5. Death Total The death total was five. Three were killed right on the spot. Eight men were wounded , two out of the eight died after the incident. Those who died were: Samuel Gray, James Caldwell, Crispus Attucks, Samuel Maverick, and Patrick Carr. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:The_death.png

  6. Trial Captain Preston and the soldiers were arrested and scheduled for trial at Suffolk County court. Captain Preston was found not guilty.
