  1. Julia Leigh Sitton - Tips For Learning A New Language In addition to being an English language teacher who currently teaches young children the basics of the language in her rolewith ILA Vietnam, Julia Leigh Sitton also works in Vietnam full-time, meaning that she has needed to develop an understanding of the language so that she can communicate with non-English speakers. Learning a new language is an aspiration for many people, so try to keep the following in mind to ensure your progress. Know Your Goals Ideally, you should havea goal in mind that offers you reason to learn the new language in the first place. Many people who set out to develop skillsin another language often have a vague goal of just being able to speak another dialect, which often fails to provide them with the motivation they need to keep going when things get tough. A more defined goal could be learning a language so that you can go traveling, or so that you can speak to a friend who ismore comfortable with that language. Talk Constantly It is important that you practice your skills whenever you have the chance. It isfairly easyto read and listen to other languages, as there are manymaterials available for that purpose, but it is sometimes harder to find opportunities to speak as often as you may like. As such, try to take advantage of any that do come along and consider finding a speaking partner who will be able to help you. You can also talk to yourself to keep new phrases fresh in your mind. Be Willing to Make Mistakes Learning a new language is no easy task and many peopleend up being put off if they make a few mistakes, especiallyadults who have defined comfort zones. Assuch, you need to place yourself in a new mindset when you start learning and recognize that you are likely going to make a lot of mistakesbefore you achieveany degree of fluency. Treat each mistake as a learning experience that can be used to improveyour skills. Just Do It Julia Leigh Sitton recognizes that getting started isoften the biggest barrier for people who wish to learn new languages. Instead of spending time planning, just jump right in and start learning. Read books and look for tutorials online, in addition to booking lessons with language teachers in your area. This will allow you to makeconstant progress when you may otherwise have been procrastinating. To Learn More Visit Here - https://www.behance.net/julialeighsitton
