Clearbrook’s Chance to Change • High levels of trust and leadership and colleagues will serve as the foundation for this transformation. • High levels of collegial leadership will facilitate the goal of accreditation. • By establishing relationships, collaboration and strengthening professionalism CMS will exceed high standardsto prepare students for the transition to high school and life after k-12 education.

  3. Current State of Clearbrook Clearbrook Middle School is in a state of improvement with regard to instruction, collaboration, student learning and meaningful engagement, and parental and community involvement. Our school has not met accreditation nor has it made AYP in the last three years. Focusing on the following areas will help us achieve our desired state: • Teachers take a special interest in their students’ academic needs and seek professional development to master effective delivery of their curriculum; • Administrators provide time and resources necessary for teachers to improve instructionally; • Students take ownership for their learning; and • Parents and the community are actively involved in the overall academic process as well.

Clearbrook Vision The Clearbrook school community strives to uphold: • rigorous expectations for students, our administrators, teachers, and parents • support for students as they flourish academically and emotionally • research-based, instructional methodologies that promote best practice • innovation in order to address the dynamic needs of our students and society • meaningful professional development • professionalism among the faculty • opportunities for self-reflection

Clearbrook Mission We at Clearbrook Middle School acknowledge our responsibility to be educational leaders and are committed to developing the full intellectual, physical, and social potential of each student in our diverse community. We strive to create a safe, respectful environment that stimulates curiosity, encourages creativity, and promotes social responsibility.
