  8. Iago complained to Roderigo that Othello, the Moor chose Cassio to be his lieutenant, rather than him. They informed Barbantio his daughter, Desdemona ,was sleeping with Othello, which led their marriage(?). At that time, the Turkish fleet was sailing towards Cypress ,and Othello was asked to go(?to) defend them. Desdemona asked to come with. When they arrived in Cypress, Iago told Roderigo that he believed Desdemona was in love with Cassio and convinced him to pick a fight with Cassio to get Cassio into trouble. He also wanted to make Othello jealous of Cassio.

Then Roderiago came and explained to Othello the reason for pulling Montano into the melee混战, 搏斗, . Othello got angry and said Cassio was no longer his lieutenant . Privately ,Iago convinced Cassio to entreat Desdemona to ask Othello to reinstate him ,and he would use their private meetings to convince Othello that Desdemona was disloyal.

  10. Step2nd Iago asked his wife, Emillia, to steal the handkerchief, which was given to Desdemona by Othello. Then, privately, he put the handkerchief at Cassio’ room to fuel Othello’ suspicion. Iago told Othello many things about Desdemona and Cassio: he had heard Cassio talked of his love for Desdemona in his sleep; he had seen Cassio wipe his beard by Desdemona’ handkerchief. The last straw was that Cassio had admitted sleeping with Desdemona

  11. Othello asked Iago to kill Cassio and as for Desdemona, He wished her death, too. Iago asked Roderigo to kill Cassio, but he was killed by Cassio and Cassio disappeared.
