  2. 1 - 3 • Prophesying that Jerusalem would fall • Disciples thought that what Jesus spoke of would all occur at the same time. • The fall of Jerusalem • The signs of the end of the age • Christ’s second coming

  3. 4 - 14 • War’s were normal at this time but Jesus is distinguishing this time as a war unlike any other. • Many people thought that WW I and WW II were these times and that Hitler was the antichrist.

  4. There has always been these natural disasters, but we will experience horrific ones at the end of the end of the age. (birth pains) • Global warming is nothing to freak out about because that’s not how the world ends. • Gungor: 14 – 18:50

  5. Most people will give on their faith • What are you going to do when someone puts a gun to your head and tells you to deny your faith or they will pull the trigger? • Should we wait until later to make this decision? How do we stand firm until the end?

  6. 15 – 22 • When the antichrist is seen in the temples and declare himself as God and defile the temple. • When you see that, run! • Run and don’t look back. • For this to happen the temple in Jerusalem needs to be rebuilt.

  7. No one would have survived if not cut short. • Take a look at the tenses used in verse 22, why is Jesus speaking in these tenses? • Main point: Be prepared!
