  21. LPP Collaboration on STAR LPP Scientists and Technicians made a major contribution to The construction of the STAR Barrel Electromagnetic Calorimeter TJH: JINR 50th, 3/27/2006

LP Collaboration on STAR LPP scientists and technicians did all the mechanical assembly  of the Barrel Electronagetic Calorimeter modules and the  PMT boxes at Wayne State as well as the installation work too.  At  home in Dubna, they produced all the mechanical components for the  PMT boxes and the end steel plates for the modules.   TJH: JINR 50th, 3/27/2006

  30. R & D on Advanced Detectors ODYSSEY Orbiter MissionHEND: High Energy Neutron Detector. First Results:HEND has 4 signals of neutrons from sensors SD, MD, LD and SC/IN, and for each of them the map of orbital measurements is currently produced. The map of MD sensor is contributed by epithermal neutrons mainly left. This MD map is consistent with the map for epithermal neutrons from Neutron Spectrometer. Count rate over the South Pole is 5-10 times lower (blue region) – doubtless water presence. TJH: JINR 50th, 3/27/2006
