  1. Importing PPT to Web Pages Self Instruction Guide

  2. Introduction PPT presentations can easily be imported into your web pages. There are two different techniques; one for Netscape users and one for Internet Explorer. • Netscape • Internet Explorer

  3. Netscape • After completing your PPT, pull down [File] select [Save As] • Select the location to save you PPT • Give your PPT a name review

  4. Netscape, con’t • Close your PPT • Open FrontPage to your web page • Select the location for your PPT • Type the name of your PPT review

  5. Netscape, con’t • Pull down [File] select [Import] • Select [Add File] • Locate your PPT • Notice that the ICON is the same as a regular PPT • Click [Open] review

  6. Return to Introduction Netscape, con’t • Highlight the name of your PPT • Select the [Hyperlink Icon] • Locate your PPT • Click [OK] • Save you work, and try it out! review

  7. Internet Explorer • After completing your PPT, pull down [File] select [Save As Web Page] • Select the location for your PPT • Name your PPT review

  8. Internet Explorer, con’t • Close your PPT • Open FrontPage to your web page • Select the location for your PPT • Type the name of your PPT review

  9. Internet Explorer, con’t • Pull down [File] select [Import] • Select [Add File] • You will also need to [add Folder] (next slide) • Locate your PPT • Notice that the icon for the Web Page is different than a regular PPT • Click [Open] review

  10. Internet Explorer, con’t • Pull down [File] again, select [Import] • Select [Add Folder] • Select the folder with the same name as you PPT • Click [OK] review

  11. Return to Introduction Internet Explorer, con’t • Highlight the name of your PPT • Select the [Hyperlink Icon] • Locate your PPT • Notice that the ICON for the Web version of your PPT is different from the regular PPT ICON* • Click [OK] • Save you work, and try it out! *do not hyperlink the folder review

  13. Return to Introduction Internet Explorer Review
