    3. Where do I sit? Assigned seats… they will be changed periodically. If you have any vision or hearing problems that require you to sit near the front, please let me know as soon as possible.

Who is this woman? 10 years of teaching experience Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 1A, Honors Algebra, Liberal Arts, FCAT prep Master’s Degree in Health Education – UWF Bachelor’s Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology – UWF Avid runner in local 5K and 10K races; completed two Half Marathons Girls cross-country coach Mother of 14 year old son, Josh

    5. How will I be treated? I will endeavor to always treat you with honesty and respect. I expect you to treat me and each other the same way! Be on time. Be polite Be productive.

    6. What are we going to do in here? We will adhere to a regular schedule. Mini-Math Vocabulary Note-taking Examples and Practice Quizzes and Tests Projects (occasionally)

    7. How will I be graded? Algebra 2 55% - Tests/Projects 30% - Quizzes 15% - Hmwk/Clswk Info Tech 50% - Tests/Projects 35% - Quizzes 15% - Hmwk/Clswk

    8. How many rules do you have? One – Students are to conduct themselves as ladies or gentlemen.

    9. What about school and county rules? I do enforce all county and school rules. Cell phones and media devices Cheating Dress code Planner use Tardies and absences Food and drink

    11. How do you plan to enforce these rules? Most of you wish to be treated as adults. My goal is to treat you as an adult unless you show me you aren’t one. Warning 20 min. morning detention Parent/guardian phone call Referral to dean

    12. What do I need to bring to class everyday? Pocket folder or binder with notebook paper and graph paper Pencils and a pen Student workbook (will be provided) Scientific calculator Something to read on DREW days

    14. Class Goal The goal of this class is to help you become successful students and people by developing better thinkers. Nearly everything we do will be centered among this goal.
