  2. 俗名：綠殼菜蛤 • 學名：Perna viridis(Linnaeus) • 分類：貝類動物，軟體動物門，雙殼鋼，贻貝目、殼菜蛤科 • 外型特徵：雙殼綠色，但有時帶黑褐色，殼表有綑輪脈，殼內面光滑，有珍珠光澤本種為外國引進者。

  3. 綠殼菜蛤 • 入侵的原因： 引入後為養殖、觀賞或食用等目的，可能是隨著船舶運輸之壓艙水、船底附著之生物，或隨運河開通後所引入。 原生地： 菲律賓以南的熱帶海域 • 台灣分布區域： 臺灣西部甚至東部沿海

  4. 綠殼菜蛤 • 危害嚴重性 1.港岸的消波塊及沿海蚵棚上已大量出現，恐影響港灣工程設施及牡蠣生長。 2.造成的工廠進水管堵塞，堵塞蟹籠和蛤蜊養殖袋，以及阻礙商業捕撈受到附著的船舶。 3.受到附著的船舶，如果不定期進行清理，會降低燃油效率。
