  2. GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION • This space is located in the municipality zone of Pajara in the south-west of the island of Fuerteventura. It is also part of the Rural Park of Betancuria. • It is less than a twenty minute drive is from Pajara, most of the drive along the valley which has Ajuy at its mouth.

  3. WHY IS THIS AREA PROTECTED? • Thisspacesituatedinside of theformernature reserve of betancuria has beendeclared as specialzoneprotectionsforthebirds, accordingtowhattheEuropean (directive) establishes 79/409/CEE relativetotheConservation of Wild birds.

  4. WHY IS THIS AREA PROTECTED? • Thisspaceisfordefinitionecologicallysensitive, accordingtothelaw 11/1990 july 13th, of anecologicimpactprevention.
