  2. Description about the Project • Online Survey Consists of Two Parts Wap Push Application & Online Survey

  3. Wap Push Application • In wap push we basically send two kind of links to the user. • 1st link redirect user to the Survey • 2nd link redirect user to a form which have suggestion about new restaurants and events

  5. Wap Push Working • In order to send a Wap Push we have to do settings of the wap Push Application • 1st we have to give the COM Port no. • COM port is a communication Port through which your mobile is connected • It Could be through Infrared, Bluetooth or through cable.

  6. Wap Push Working Cont. • Setting the Speed of the Communication that at which speed the communication is going on. • Then we have to put Recipients mobile Number in a specific Format(+467…………..) • Now we have to click on to the Wap Push Button in order to Give URL of Survey.

Wap Push Working Cont. • After Inserting the URL application automatically convert it into PDU format • Application also has option to send multipart Messages • After clicking the send button the Message is sent to the specific Recipient • At last we show the results whether it is delivered successfully or not.

  9. Control Panel • In control panel the administrator has different Options

Application Overview • Dynamic Creation of Survey Question Form (only asp) from database • Dynamic generation of results of desire survey from database • Full authentication and security with and help of sessions and different. • Dynamic View of survey questionnaire from the user choice. (WML or ASP pages) • Introduction of an admin control panel with the following options (add survey, adducers, view survey results, views all user with pins ) • Use MySQL as backend database • Tested on several devices and working fine :)

  11. User Survey • In order to fill the survey user has to Login

  12. Survey Page Type • After login user is redirected to the a page where the user has to made selection about the Supporting page Type

  13. Survey • After the Selection of the Survey user have to fill the survey Questions

  14. Results • After Completing the Survey the User can see the Results of the Specific Survey

  15. Testing Phase • Will Successfully Run On All the Cell Phones having Opera Mini brower • Tested On Nokia N73, 6230, Motorola L7 , Sony Ericsson T610 e.t.c

Additional Tasks • The mobile application has to be enabled for download from your project-web-site, ie OTA. • The application has to run seamlessly on a variety of devices. • Your project-web-site uses WURFL for content-adaption. • You describe your mobile application/service with a FlashLite manual or a Flash Lite demo. • Push-functionality is used either to remotely launch a JME-application or to Push news to the mobile device,  for example to inform the user that a new version is available.
